Hey world! Back in August, I knew I was ready to commit myself for a lifestyle change. My goals: a) learn how to eat right b) learn to love exercise. I’ve decided to become a healthier person for the rest of my life. It’s all about getting to a point where I don’t have to remind myself about trying to eat right and I won’t even need to push myself to exercise. I want it all to become second nature to me - I wanna LOVE it! My journey has been a+mazing so far and here is my first ‘before & after’ picture! I hope it brings inspiration to some of you. :)  I think I’m on the right track with this but I am by no means saying I’m perfect. Baby-steps, folks! You see, one of my biggest problems has always been emotional eating and sometimes when I’m feeling down, I still find myself comforting myself with food BUT I have faced with the reality of my situation and by that I mean I fully confess that comfort eating is my problem. That means I can fix it. I used to be very ashamed of myself and I think that stopped me from facing the problem. I couldn’t really admit it, although I knew it was there and making me miserable.
Anyway, I’ve noticed that I definitely don’t comfort eat as often as I used to. Actually, whether I’m feeling tired or a bit under the weather, I’ve started yearning for a nice jog instead. :) I’ve often gone for one and felt a hell of a lot better afterwards! Binging on food could never do that. So, that’s progress I’ve made in that area and by the way, you should always celebrate any kind of progress, big or small.
